Vacancy Maintenance & Reliability Engineer – Baarle-Nassau


26 JUL ’22: For a fast-growing, innovative nuclear medicine organisation, we are currently looking for a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer. The purpose of the role of Maintenance & Reliability Engineer is that you assure maintenance standards and equipment design are up to standard to assure safe and reliable operation of the production cells. You will also be critical in the deployment of the organisation’s Computerised Maintenance Management System and assuring all activities are executed in a GMP-compliant manner. Next to this, you will be involved in defining maintenance- and spare parts strategies and working on corrective-, preventive-, and inspection maintenance in order to continuously look at improvements.

In addition, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Definition of job plans by understanding, Failure Modes and risks to the business;
  • Super user of the Computerised Maintenance Management System;
  • Being a thought partner for Capital Investments, equipment validation and process engineering.


The organisation is looking for an experienced engineer with a proven track record in maintenance and reliability. Preferably you have obtained experience in pharmaceutical operations, combined with several years of experience within your field. Next to this, we expect that you have an attention to detail, and the ability to look at the process through the eye of the end-user as well as an engineer.

In addition, the organisation is looking for the following:

  • Background in Mechanical-, Electrical-, or Mechatronics Engineering;
  • 8-10 years of experience;
  • Expert understanding of FMEA and Reliability Centered Maintenance;
  • Attention to safety, able to work in an organised and structured manner through protocols and standards.
