Vacancy Maintenance Technician – Baarle-Nassau

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be joining a dedicated team whose mission is to bring new therapies to patients worldwide by producing radiopharmaceuticals. The purpose of the role is that you assure equipment integrity and reliability are up to the standard. This is to assure the safe and reliable operation of the organisation’s production cells. In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Execution of maintenance within the radioligand production cells;
  • Corrective, preventive and inspective maintenance, including remediation of first-line failures;
  • Controlling and administrating the spare parts for the production hot cells in alignment with the Maintenance Engineer;
  • Being a key partner in continuous improvement, providing input to equipment modifications and overall process based on maintenance activities (breakdowns, interruptions etc.);
  • Supporting validation activities per the defined validation protocols;
  • Providing technical training to operators where needed.


The organisation is looking for someone with 5+ years of working experience in a manufacturing environment. Ideally, you obtained your experience within pharmaceuticals but other highly regulated environments could be relevant as well. Furthermore, we expect that you have an attention to detail, and the ability to look at the process through the eye of the end-user as well as a technician.

In addition, the organisation is looking for:

  • Technical backgrounds, such as Mechanical-, Electrical-, or Mechatronics Engineering;
  • Experience with corrective-, preventive- and inspective maintenance;
  • Attention to safety, ability to work in an organised and structured manner;
  • Analytical skills;
  • Communication skills in Dutch and English.
